Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our nutrition education programs

Program Information

What nutrition programs do you offer?

We currently offer two main programs:

  • Foundation Program: A comprehensive introduction to nutrition science principles for individuals looking to build a solid knowledge base in nutrition.
  • Advanced Program: An in-depth curriculum for professionals seeking to expand their expertise in specialized areas of nutrition science.

Each program is designed to provide evidence-based education with practical applications in various nutrition contexts.

How long does it take to complete each program?

The Foundation Program typically takes 4-6 months to complete when studying part-time (10-15 hours per week). The Advanced Program generally requires 8-12 months to complete, depending on your pace and prior knowledge.

Both programs offer flexible scheduling to accommodate working professionals and those with other commitments. Students have access to course materials for 12 months, allowing for self-paced learning within that timeframe.

Are your programs accredited?

Yes, our programs are accredited by the Council for Nutrition Education Accreditation (CNEA) and recognized by several professional nutrition associations. Our curriculum is regularly reviewed and updated to maintain compliance with current educational standards in nutrition science.

Additionally, our programs qualify for continuing education credits for various health professions, depending on your jurisdiction and professional affiliation.

What career opportunities are available after completing your programs?

Graduates of our programs have pursued various career paths, including:

  • Nutrition consultants in private practice
  • Corporate wellness educators
  • Community nutrition educators
  • Nutrition writers and content creators
  • Research assistants in nutrition studies
  • Food industry consultants

It's important to note that our programs are educational in nature and do not automatically qualify graduates for licensure in regulated professions such as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), which requires specific degree programs and supervised practice hours. Always check your local regulations regarding nutrition practice requirements.
